Diversity Management remains stable in crisis
Since foundation of the diversity charter more than 700 companies have dealt with diversity issues. Despite all prophecies of doom diversity management has not fallen victim to the 2009 crisis. Whereas budgets for Diversity activities were reduced in some companies, in others they but increased. Companies in Germany have realized the potential of diversity. It was as well recognized that diversity and inclusion are no short-term projects which can be driven up and down, but which need stable bases and honest commitment in order to be successful at last. That's why growing activities in diversity management are expected in 2010 - claims a current research. Above all the topic gender diversity can be found on the agenda of many companies. Result: Future-oriented companies take the topic Diversity management seriously and implement it with sustainable effect.
